  • Myths of poker

Great knowledge about the game and skills to calculate the probability of the hands is the prerequisite to win the game. There are some participants in the game who think their stupid and absurd ideas will lead them to win a good hand .But unfortunately it’s all their misunderstanding.

Just try to avoid and get such ideas away from you otherwise be ready to face the repercussion.

Take a look at such myths:

    1) Make a demand of new cards of deck while you about to lose a streak.

This simply shows the incompetence of player to win and how much he still needs to learn.

Just lying on the luck is the worst practice which is always followed by the lose player.

There is no sense in making a demand for new cards in this situation.

    2) Avoiding playing particular hi or low cads.

No definite rules exist in poker .Its all practice and practice. This is not the game which can be viewed by a particular angle.

    3)  Always show up the cards when they are in the good position.

It’s not true. one can show his cards when he wish to bet. It also brings profit when you have good knowledge of pot odds.

    4)  To play tightly opens the door of winning frequently.

One should be as flexible as he could be. That is the only way to stick in the place for long run and to make you cope up with any odd condition of the poker game.

    5) Bluffing is the easiest way to climb up on a high rock of the winning if done in an innocent way.

No bluffing can not be done so silently and innocently .It depend how one is going to execute it.

The art of bluffing lies in the way it is performed.

    6)  Keeping the stake up to lower level and following the exit time of the game.

If really there is a fine player he would like the stake to go up. Because he knows following rigid quitting time won’t help him to fly up.

Do not leave any room for any of such myths .It is like a mirage in the dessert which is nothing but an illusion for the eyes.
